The average person eats at least 2 cups of ice cream at a time, which means you are consuming about 16 grams of saturated fats or 88% percent of your RDA.

4. White Rice

Refined starches like white rice have a high glycemic index, which may lead to a rise in inflammation. A regular serving size for carbohydrates like white rich is about 1 – 1 1/2 cups per meal. However, people tend to go way overboard with carbohydrates like this, serving up about 4 -5 cups.

5. Alcohol

Drinking too much alcohol has been found to cause inflammation, especially in the liver, which is a major component in helping the body metabolize it. If you are consuming 3 – 4 drinks each night, you may want to reconsider how you wind down at night.

6. Chips

Yes, it really is hard to just have one chip, but loading up on sodium rich foods like chips can lead to inflammation. In some cases this may even cause your hands and feet to swell up or cause overall puffiness in certain areas of the body.
