The studies also have shown that people who eat nuts about 7 times a week are 29% less likely to die from heart disease and 11% less likely to die from cancer. This study was compared to people who do not consume nuts. The people who ate nuts 2 to 4 times every week, reduced the risk by 13%; those who ate nuts once a week, reduced the risk by 11% and the ones who ate nuts less than once a week, reduced the risk by 7%.

People who consume nuts are overall healthier

According to another study done, people who regularly eat nuts have lower rates of obesity, lower cholesterol levels, less high blood pressure, and exercised more compared to people who ate no nuts at all.

Consider adding more raw nuts to your diet. Choose raw nuts over roasted they have much more health benefits. It is always a great idea to soak raw nuts before consuming them. It can help reduce the phytic acid content, help digest them better, and help the body gain more nutritional value.
