Lavender contains linalyl Acetate and Linalol, both of which have analgesic and anesthetic properties (pain relieving effects). This amazing oil also contains Terpinen-4-ol, which has an anti-bacterial effect similar to linalol, crucial for preventing infection.

Tee Tree

Tea tree oil helps soothe pain and prevents minor burns from getting infected. Tea tree oil helps burns heal quicker than a dry bandage. If you are experiancing a burn that hurts to the touch, try apply a few drops of tea tree oils to a bandage and wrap around the infected area. Together, these two components work together to promote lavender’s anti-bacterial properties. Which is very essential when it comes to a burns.

Essential oils for burns: How to make your own burn blend

To make your own essential oil burn blend you will need a glass jar, add 5 drops of tea tree oil, 3 – 5 drops of lavender, and 2 ounces of grapeseed oil. Mix all ingredients together in the glass jar shake and let sit for 2 days. After the blend is ready gently shake and apply.
