Facial mask

Combine 1-4 – 1-/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric along with plain, unflavored Greek yogurt. Next, all you need to do is apply this mixture to the face in a gentle, upward notion. You will want to leave this mask on your face for about 15 to 30 minutes, rinse with cool water and pat dry. In place of yogurt you may also use aloe Vera gel, cucumber juice, olive oil and sweet almond oil. For a smoother feel use turmeric essential oil, only a tiny amount needed.

Night cream

Combine 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric with about 2 ounces of goat milk facial cream. Mix well and gently massage over the face or effected area of the skin.

Itching & inflammation

Turmeric can be beneficial for a number of skin ailments including poison ivy, eczema, psoriasis, and any other related skin irritations. All you will need is a mixture of turmeric and high-fat organic milk or yogurt. Slightly warm the milk (do not boil), then add several teaspoons of turmeric for a nice infusion. You can apply this remedy topically to any affected areas for at least 20 – 30 minutes.
